The MR500E features a solid spruce top, a mahogany body, and an ovangkol fingerboard. The classic dreadnought body has a Venetian cutaway for easy high-fret access and is equipped with Cort CE304T electronics to deliver the MR500E’s natural acoustic sound to an amplification system for both live and recording applications. A scooped surface bridge enhances sustain with a greater string angle from the saddle to the body while reducing tension on the strings across the neck for less finger fatigue and improved playability. A 3-band EQ is included for tonal flexibility and a built-in LED tuner for added convenience.
