Give Your Components the Element They Need and Save Big: AudioQuest Water Interconnects Lead to Dramatic Listening Improvements, Play with Exceptional Resolution, Clarity, Air, and Neutrality We all know how refreshing the nearly indescribable experience of hearing instruments, voices, atmospherics, and effects on a record we’ve played countless times feels — and just how cool it is to see that music in a different light.

AudioQuest Water interconnects are designed to deliver those moments and instill those sensations.

Rather than having to change up a component or switch out your speakers, you might be surprised at just how far a high-end interconnect upgrade like Water can take you — and how much information, presence, and detail you were missing from your listening sessions.

Featuring Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors, a 72-volt Dielectric-Bias System (DBS), carbon-based six-layer Noise-Dissipation System (NDS), polyethylene air-tube insulation, and red copper plugs, the triple-balanced Water play with exceptional air, clarity, accuracy, and neutrality.

Among the most resolved interconnects available anywhere near their price class — particularly at this hugely discounted savings — Water conveys the vibrancy, pace, and body that helps make music come alive rather than sounding just reproduced by electronics and devices.

Though Water cannot transform an average component into a great one, it can — and will — bring out the optimal potential of your gear.

If you’re looking to get wider soundstaging, deeper bass, enhanced naturalism, and a more solid midrange from your music, and hear deeper into your recordings, Water is likely the very element you need.

We invite you to try a set (or more) in your own system and hear the results yourself with a risk-free in-home audition backed by our Satisfaction Guarantee.

For more information, or answers to any questions you might have about Water or our policy, feel free to reach out to an audio consultant at 312-433-0200. ***NOTE: May not include plastic plug caps and mesh socks to protect the painted finishes that are usually included with new Audioquest cables of similar series.*** Polyethylene Air-Tube Insulation Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit.

Wire insulation and circuit board materials all absorb energy. Some of this energy is stored and then released as distortion. AudioQuest uses polyethylene air-tube Insulation on both conductors for increased geometry stabilization and improved clarity.

Because air absorbs next to no energy and polyethylene is low-loss and has a benign distortion profile, polyethylene air-tube insulation, with its high air content, causes much less of the out-of-focus effect common to other materials.

Dielectric-Bias System with Radio-Frequency Trap All insulation between two or more conductors is also a dielectric whose properties will affect the integrity of the signal.

When the dielectric is unbiased, dielectric-involvement (absorption and non-linear release of energy) causes different amounts of time delay (phase shift) for different frequencies and energy levels, which is a real problem for very time-sensitive multi-octave audio.

The inclusion of an RF Trap (developed for AudioQuest’s Niagara Series of power products) ensures that radio-frequency noise will not be induced into the signal conductors from the DBS field elements. (DBS, US Pat #s 7,126,055 & 7,872,195 B1) Carbon-Based Six-Layer Noise-Dissipation System (NDS) It's easy to accomplish 100% shield coverage.

Preventing captured radio-frequency interference (RFI) from modulating the equipment's ground reference requires AQ's Noise-Dissipation System (NDS).

Traditional shield systems typically absorb and then drain noise/RF energy to component ground, modulating and distorting the critical "reference" ground plane, which in turn causes a distortion of the signal.

NDS's alternating layers of metal and carbon-loaded synthetics "shield the shield," absorbing and reflecting most of this noise/RF energy before it reaches the layer attached to ground.
