Now, the same potent rigid-mount motor from the P324 is available as an upgrade kit. This is a huge upgrade, virtually eliminating vibration, wobble and speed instabilities and delivering enormous improvements in focus, dynamics, extension and tone.

The 24V Motor Upgrade Kit is also compatible with Rega's outboard TT-PSU external power supply, which is standard equipment on the P5 and offered as an upgrade for the P324.

The TT-PSU is a plug and play upgrade which makes a huge improvement, improving pitch definition and stability, lowering the noise floor and creating another big jump in speed stability.

The TT-PSU incorporates an advanced anti-vibration circuit which further eliminates motor noise and as an added bonus, the TT-PSU also adds the ability to switch between 33RPM and 45RPM with the flick of a switch. Simple soldering is required for the installation; the old motor and switch need to be de-soldered and the power switch needs to be re-soldered onto the new board. Other than that, simple tools, patience and a slow and steady hand are all that are needed to install this kit.

We highly recommend reading the instructions several times thoroughly; although this is not a complicated procedure, as always, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
